Save the Date for the 2025 Downtown Council’s Annual Luncheon!

By Jared Campbell, Resident Engagement Project Manager at Downtown Council of Kansas City

On behalf of the staff of the Downtown Council and the Annual Luncheon Planning Committee, we are excited to announce that Friday, April 11th will be the date of the 2025 Annual Luncheon. This year’s theme will be Downtown KC: Connecting Communities. From catalytic projects such as the South Loop and the Greenline, to promoting policies around housing and neighborhoods, this year’s luncheon will focus on a community update from the Imagine Downtown KC 2030 Strategic Plan.

We will once again gather at the Kay Barnes Grand Ballroom at Bartle Hall for an opportunity to celebrate Downtown KC. Plan on arriving by 11am to enjoy the Spirit of Downtown Exhibit to engage with nonprofits, small businesses, and development projects doing work in downtown.

The program will start at 12pm and will include a variety of speakers. Not only will you hear from the current Downtown Council Board Chair, Gib Kerr, along with President and CEO, Bill Dietrich, but the 2025 Urban Heroes will be recognized and the J. Philip Kirk Award for civic excellence will be presented. We will soon be announcing additional details about the keynote speaker.

Sponsorship and ticket sales are available. For more information, please visit www.downtownkc.org/annual-luncheon or email Jared Campbell at jared@downtownkc.org.
