Techweek Tuesday: Grand Tech Tour today

Fresh off the Grand Opening Party at Boulevard Brewery last night, Techweek Kansas City begins day 2 of its week-long conference + festival today (Tuesday) in Downtown KC.

Techweek KC will feature its Grand Tour of Downtown tech business (today); Basecamp at the Sprint Accelerator (Tues thru Fri); its “traditional” conference and speaker format (Wed-Fri);  the LaunchKC startup grants competition (Thu-Fri); Hiring Fair (Wednesday); Business Expo (Thu-Fri);  mucho receptions and parties (nightly), concerts (Fri and Sat), and a Hackathon (this weekend) . Whew!

Here is what’s on tap for Tuesday on the Techweek KC schedule for Techweek attendees:

  • 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Basecamp: co-working space at Sprint Accelerator
  • 2-5 p.m. The Techweek Grand Tour – SOLD OUT – will give attendees a tour of some of the most exciting tech offices in the Downtown Kansas City vicinity. Sponsored by Copaken-Brooks.
    • The tour will feature four stops in Downtown
      • DSI – 1201 Walnut St.
      • Valorem Consulting – 2101 Broadway Blvd.
      • Sprint Accelerator – 210 W 19 Terr.
      • Think Big Partners -1712 Main St.
  • 5-7 p.m. Grand Tour Happy Hour at Corrigan Building. RSVP here.

All Techweek and LaunchKC events are set for greater Downtown, including Union Station, the Power & Light District and venues in the Crossroads Arts District.
