Sprint Accelerator welcomes innovators to its grand opening
A smorgasbord of inquisitive Kansas City professionals converged on the Sprint Mobile Health Accelerator during its official public unveiling on Wednesday in the Crossroads Arts District, reported The Kansas City Business Journal.
Those in health, tech, telecom, insurance and economic development meandered the 15,000-square-foot accelerator, which in about two months will welcome 10 startups in mobile health. The array of attendees epitomizes the breadth of shared hope for and enthusiasm in the accelerator and its yield, reported wrote Bobby Burch, Business Journal reporter.
The Business Journal went on to report:
“There’s a lot of excitement around what this means for the Crossroads district and Kansas City’s tech community,” said Ashlie Hand, vice president of communications for the Kansas City Area Development Council. “It’s a great injection of innovation and talent. We’ve been hearing that the applications that have been coming in have been promising and coming in from all over the country and even the world.”
