Introducing Our CIDs’ Business Liaison Ambassador – Dasia Mendez
By Jared Campbell, Resident Engagement Project Manager at Downtown Council of Kansas City
My name is Dasia Mendez and I am excited to step into my new role as a Business Liaison Ambassador for the Downtown and River Market Community Improvement Districts. I started my career not working for the man but the mouse—Mickey Mouse. During my time at Walt Disney World, I gained invaluable experience rooted in world-renowned standards of excellence and a customer-centric mentality that I hope will help me flourish in my new role.
As a Community Improvement District (CID) Business Liaison Ambassador, I serve as a key connector, fostering relationships that contribute to the growth of Downtown Kansas City and the River Market.
My role is to support businesses like yours by ensuring that the DCID and the RMCID remains a clean, safe, and thriving place to work, shop, live and visit.
I’m here as a resource for you—whether you have concerns about cleanliness, security, or any other community-related needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out. My goal is to help your business succeed and to ensure that Downtown and the River Market remains a welcoming and dynamic place for everyone.
