Downtown KC Connects – A new look for a new year

Welcome to the Downtown Council of Kansas City’s rebranded weekly email update, “Downtown KC Connects.”

The title reflects what we do at the Downtown Council. After all, it’s our mission to connect, facilitate, advocate, and bring Kansas City’s businesses, property owners, nonprofit organizations, and anyone invested in Downtown’s success, together to make Downtown KC a more vibrant, inclusive, and equitable community.

We work with many partners and our affiliated organizations such as the Downtown Community Improvement District to ensure Downtown Kansas City is a clean, safe, and vibrant place to work, shop, live, and do business.

With this brand refresh, we are also realigning the content of our newsletter to include stories about current issues impacting Downtown KC. We will share in-house research, details about development projects, updates on our advocacy activities, stories about members, insight from our leaders and more.

In addition to Downtown KC Connects, we have 2 other content-specific e-newsletters. The “What’s Happening Downtown This Weekend?” comes out every Thursday and “The Road Map: Downtown KC Road Closures and Traffic News” comes out as needed.  Click here to subscribe to these emails.
