The Downtown Council is launching an exciting new event this fall titled The State of Downtown which will feature a panel highlighting the riverfront’s new $800 million mixed-use district, set to start construction later this year. In addition, we will share the latest data illustrating Downtown’s growth and recovery from the pandemic as well as showcase the flavor of our city with local artists and musicians.
The Imagine Downtown KC 2030 plan is designed to serve as the primary vision-setting and policy blueprint for shaping a stronger, better, more resilient community with an unflinching commitment to creating an equitable, inclusive, and vibrant Downtown Kansas City.
